B-I-O-L-O-G-Y You are about to dive into the world of Biology! The word biology is derived from the greek words /bios/ meaning /life/ and /logos/ meaning /study/ and is defined as the science of life and living organisms. An organism is a living entity consisting of one cell e.g. bacteria, or several cells e.g. animals, plants and fungi. Aspects of Biological Science range from the study of molecular mechanisms in cells, to the classification and behavior of organisms, how species evolve and interaction between ecosystems.

About Coach Schultheis |
My name is Coach Schultheis and this is my 4th year at FMHS. I teach PAP Biology during 2nd and 4th periods. My conference period is during 3rd period from 12:05 pm-1:53 pm. I coach Freshmen Girl's Volleyball and JV2 Girl's Soccer. My wife coaches and teaches PE at Forestwood Middle School. We have 2 daughters, Blakely (2 yrs) and Bennett (<1) who keeps us busy and on our toes! You can find my wife and I at the sand volleyball courts or watching SHARK WEEK during our "off" time. .
We are not native Texans, but transplants from the Windy City, Chicago! I am currently a licensed PT in the state of Texas and practice mainly in the summers. I received my undergraduate degree from The University of Arizona's-Pima Medical College and received my post-graduate from Grand Canyon University. I am a huge University of Arizona & University of Notre Dame fan and enjoy watching my Cubbies play! |
